Components for Oil & Gas sector
Many critical components for oil & gas industry are used for turbines, compressors and control plants. Our machines are used for the machining of turbine cases and exhaust casings, structural components that need complex geometries and high dimensional stability. Among most critical parts we find blisk for compressors and turbines mainly realized in superalloys like Inconel. These components need very strict tolerances and perfect finishing
Mixing chambers and hot gas chambers, exposed to extreme temperatures, are machined with high attention to ensure a perfect surface finish, concentricity and no residual stress. For steam turbines our Customers manufacture rotors (for high, medium and low pressure), diaphragms and turbine casings that are designed to work under high mechanical loads and continuous thermal cycles.
Lastly, we have the compressor parts — like shafts, casings and impellers — and special components like Y parts (symmetrical or asymmetrical), valve bodies, swivel joints and safety systems like Blow Out Preventer (BOP). Each machining needs a combination of roughing power, thermal control and geometrical accuracy.
